New World Brewery, Ybor City, FL

Date: 01/08/09
Time: Evening
Type: Bar - Beer/Wine Only
Where: 8th and 15th, Ybor City, FL
Party: Large Group

Immediate Impression:
A little strange to walk into a place with globes all over, but hey, it's their gimmick. This is an indoor outdoor live music spot, very quirky and ecclectic

Service:
Good, but it was so cold inside even they were wearing gloves! They did well under the circumstances and were also able to recommend beers based on personal preference.

Menu/Food:
I heard they had pizza, but I didn't try it; as for their beer selection, quite substantial both on draft and bottled. There was a little for everyone - domestic, import, micro, etc.

Price:

Can't help you here, I didn't pay

Final thought:
This is a great place to start an Ybor night with friends; I didn't quite get the $7 cover charge, especially in 34 degree weather for an outdoor live band, but hey, that's just me.

Note: the second band Palantine is worth seeing!
