International Beer Garden, Lutz, FL

Been out of the loop lately...sorry, been really busy with work, traveling and my social life!!! Let's go back in time (squiggly lines, whoo whoo sound)

Date: 01/13/2010
Time: Evening
Type: Primarily Bar - serves "pizza"
Where: 16540 Pointe Village Drive, Lutz, FL
Party: Group approx 30 - mixed

Immediate Impression:
In the middle of absolutely no where - that is unless you live off SR 54 near Lutz. Once inside, the place is really cozy.

Service:
Very good, both the bartenders and the waitstaff did a phenomenal job at keeping us all happy - and we are a demanding group. As far as I know, all the tabs were correct at the end of the night.

Menu/Food:
It was pizza buffet night, so I didn't order any thing off their menu. The pizza which was provided was about the equivalent to Tostino's pizza, or rather, think elementary school lunch pizza. But, Pizza and Beer do always go together when you HAVE to eat.

As for the beer selection, I was very pleased, especially because they had Left Hand Milk Stout on tap! Also, it was $5.00 IPA night, and boy, our group took advantage of it.

The best part was they had GLUTEN-FREE beer and MAGNERS on tap, so it really was a place for everyone!

Price:
Again, $5 IPA night, and this changes weekly! Their other selections were in keeping with specialty bar pricing (read NOT CHEAP!) but well worth it (just ask you liver!)

Final thought:
I will definitely go back there, it seems more of a group place, but I might enjoy a few libations on my own to get a better sense of the actual bar atmosphere. Highly recommend for groups and for anyone who loves beer!
