Alibi's, French Qtr, New Orleans, LA

Date: 01/17/2010
Time: Early Early Morning
Type: Bar w/food (wouldn't call it a restaurant
Where: 811 Iberville Street, New Orleans, Louisiana
Party: 2 Girls, 1 Guy

Immediate Impression:
Am I really this hungry....I think I am kinda scared, but its 3AM and nothing else is open; it open late and they have a hellavu beer selection, but jeez, sketchy!

Service:
The bartender - Melissa - was really nice and attentive, well, to be honest, to me. It took a while for my friends to get their drinks. One of my friends wanted a cider, they didn't have any, she offered to make her a shot which tasted like cider -Applesauce - I didn't, so she threw it away and didn't charge us. All in all a great bartender for a 3AM crowd.

Menu/Food:
We all ordered cheeseburgers, mine must have come from an old batch cause it was bigger than the other two and well done, theirs were about medium. Personally, I thought the burgers were okay (again, its 3AM, not looking for gourmet); but I was allergic to something and ended up having an allergic reaction - my tongue went numb.

I would recommend purchasing bottle beer, the taps are not the cleanest and don't make my mistake and order a Guinness. They have an extensive bottle beer selection, something for everyone.

Price:
Not expensive at all, neither the food nor the beverages.

Final thought:
If I was starving again at 3AM, I would definitely go there. Plus it is a fantastic place to people watch...very interesting. As a late night, I need to eat spot, which is better than pizza on Bourbon street, I would definitely recommend Alibi
